New York City Schools Chancellor David Banks is addressing remote learning issues that occurred citywide last month.
Thousands of New York City public school students, parents and teachers were unable to access the remote learning platform due to a technical glitch on Feb. 13.
Despite a delay, Banks says over a million people were later able to log on.
The Department of Education says it is working with IBM to ensure its login tool can handle the capacity of students logging on during remote learning.
Performance testing is also being conducted, according to the department.
