New Yorkers helping others register to vote ahead of elections

Expect to see more New Yorkers around the five boroughs helping others get registered to vote regardless of their citizenship status.
"We're here providing voter assistance and voter education to get all voters ready for the primary on June 25," said Sequoia King, of the Campaign Finance Board. "We're also doing voter registration so any New Yorkers who are citizens and not yet registered, we can register to vote on site here at the Bronx borough president's office."
The deadline to register to vote is June 15.
