Newark's annual Pride parade on Sunday closed the city's Pride Week celebrations.
The parade started at Lincoln Park and went to NJPAC with decorated floats and marchers waiving pride flags, all part of the big finale.
Newark Pride Week has been going on for nearly 20 years and includes a religious service that took place also on Sunday.
About two dozen people attended the Gathering in the Garden, which is a universal worship service that serves the LGBTQ community.
This service is held every Sunday in the city.
