A unique talent show held by a nonprofit in the Bronx proves a disability doesn't have to hold someone back.
Alphapointe is a nonprofit that helps the blind and visually impaired find work. It also provides them with the guidance and support they need to enter the workforce.
People like Kenneth Bailey, who lost his vision 15 years ago, say they found a second home at Alphapointe.
The talent show allows all participants the chance to express themselves and to focus on ability rather than disability. Participants sang, danced and read poetry during the show.
