People who live in North Lindenhurst are fed up with how many accidents happen right near their homes.
Car accidents are a weekly occurrence at the intersection of Wellwood Avenue and Herzel Boulevard, according to people who live there.
Kathy Breslau, who lives on that intersections says, “they get stuck at the light on 109, and anyone coming out of Herzel cannot go through onto Wellwood and that’s what causes all the accidents.”
Suffolk County Legislator Jason Richburg tells News 12 there is a traffic study happening for this intersection and that should be complete in May.
