Children will be able to get vaccinated against COVID-19 in public schools Monday as the city works to stop the spread of the virus.

Every New York city public school with students ages 5 to 11 will be able to get vaccinated on a designated day.

Children attending P.S. 65 in Mott Haven have their designated day Monday from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m.

The clinics will run through next week and there will be 1,070 sites open.

To get the vaccine, children must either be accompanied by a parent or guardian or obtain written or verbal consent.

The Department of Education says no appointment is needed - you can simply walk in with your student on the day of your school's pop-up vaccine clinic.
