New York City vendors on Monday told News 12 they have been banned from selling in DUMBO after many relocated there last week.

The city’s recent bans for vendors forbit vendors from the Brooklyn Bridge and all other bridges forced them to set up shot on Washington Street. But now that is no longer an option.

“We have been continually monitoring conditions on the Brooklyn side of the bridge, and we are communicating directly with these vendors to help them identify existing, designated spaces where they can legally vend," said a City Hall spokesperson.

Several of the vendors have the proper license to sell in DUMBO, yet they’re making half of what they did on the Brooklyn Bridge and people are far less welcoming.

Vendors added officers ask for their permits every day.
