A frustrated NYCHA tenant in Throggs Neck says she has had a constant water leak in her kitchen for almost two years. 

Sadia Graham says the leaking has led to chipped paint on the ceiling near the light, drenching the kitchen floor.

Graham has to use pots for the water to leak into and also mop the floor every day.  

She says she’s filed four tickets with NYCHA, but none of them have been answered.  

"I have tickets that the numbers they gave me says its closed,” said Graham. “Why are these tickets closed if you didn’t come and take care of the job?"

The wait for a fix is also affecting her career. Graham says she had to miss a week of work waiting for someone to come out and fix the leak.

 The leak has made living conditions increasingly difficult. Graham received a notification from Con Edison and the fire department saying that she can’t use her stove, so she was forced to buy her own hot plate to cook meals for her family.

Graham is asking for NYCHA to come and fix the leaking in her apartment as well as the additional damage the water has caused over the years.
