An investigation is underway this morning after a shooting sent a man to the hospital.
The NYPD says the shooting happened in an abandoned Toys “R” Us parking lot along Flatbush Avenue just after midnight Monday.
Police say a 32-year-old man was shot in the chest. They say EMS took the victim to Kings County Hospital where he was listed in stable condition. News 12 is told that victim is expected to survive.

It is unclear what may have sparked the shooting, but the scene of the shooting is directly across from the NYPD's Brooklyn Highway Unit and just minutes from the Kings Plaza Shopping Center.
No arrests have been made.
