Police are investigating a fatal shooting of a 35-year-old man in East New York that has left a family in ruins.
The NYPD says that the victim was shot along Euclid Avenue. Officers responded to a 911 call at around 11:45 a.m. on Monday morning, and found the victim laying on the sidewalk, where he was pronounced dead. They say the victim was shot in the face, but currently do not have any suspect information or details about what caused the incident.
Euclid Avenue between Belmont and Sutter Avenues was closed to cars and pedestrians.
