A 60-year-old man was found dead during a welfare check at his Crown Heights apartment, according to police.

Officers who entered the residence at 1069 Sterling Place discovered him unresponsive on the floor with signs of head trauma.

The cause of death has yet to be determined. Police say the investigation is ongoing.
