Police say a cyclist is dead and another person was injured after a car crash in Williamsburg late Sunday morning.

The incident occurred about 11:30 a.m. on Lynch Street and Union Avenue, according to authorities.

Both people were taken to Kings County Hospital.

The cause of the accident was not immediately clear.
