Police have identified the victim of a deadly Monday shooting in Brownsville.
Police say the incident began as an argument between two people outside of a Papa Johns restaurant. The victim ran off only to be followed and eventually shot.
He was rushed to the hospital but did not survive. The victim has been identified as 36-year-old Desmond Francis.
Investigators believe it may have been a case of mistaken identity.
The suspected killer remains on the loose.
