Sources say a 60-year-old man who was found dead Saturday morning in East New York was in an abandoned ambulance.
Police say they responded to a 911 call just after 7:45 a.m. at Snediker Avenue, where they found the man with a neck injury.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
News 12 spoke with people in the area like Tziah Jones, who said incidents like these are uncommon in the industrial area.
"I'm super surprised because this is where people come to work...I've never heard of something like that until today." Jones said. "I do still feel safe because anomalies are anomalies but I do want to know what happened."
Police say the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will determine a cause of death.
