yesterdayPolice say a 53-year-old man was found dead on the road Thursday night next to a moped in Bergen Beach.
Officers discovered the victim at Avenue W and East 69th Street at around 9 p.m. Police say the man was riding a Honda motorcycle when he lost control and was ejected onto the roadway.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
