Two NYPD officers have been indicted for allegedly assaulting a 16-year-old in Brooklyn while arresting him.
News 12 first reported the incident when video surfaced last month, appearing to show the officers hit and pistol-whip Kahreem Tribble back on Aug. 29.
Officers Tyraine Isaac and David Afanador were indicted on several charges, including assault, official misconduct and criminal possession of a weapon.
Tribble was arrested on suspicion of having 17 small bags of marijuana and for disorderly conduct. However, his lawyer says the charges have since been dropped.
Both Isaac and Afanador were released without bond and are expected back in court Dec. 8.
