The NYPD officers involved in the fatal shooting of a teenager in East Flatbush last year will not face criminal charges.
According to police, cops approached Kimani Gray in March 2013 because he was acting suspicious. They claim he then pointed a gun at the officers, forcing them to shoot him seven times.
The 16-year-old's family alleges that authorities used unreasonable force in the shooting. They also claim Gray was denied medical care that could have saved his life.
Gray's death sparked several days of protests against police in the neighborhood.
