A woman’s body was pulled from Jamaica Bay Tuesday evening by the NYPD scuba team.
Police say the woman’s body was badly decomposed.
A fisherman who was at Canarsie Piers with his fishing pole in the water tells News 12 he knew something was wrong.
Divers with the scuba team responded to the report, jumped in to search and they eventually found the body.
The medical examiner will determine the cause of the woman’s death.
