The NYPD is increasing patrols around Sikh temples following a mass shooting in Wisconsin on Sunday.
Seven people died in the rampage, including the gunman, who was shot by police.
Police Commissioner Ray Kelly says there hasn?t been a specific threat in New York and that the increased security is just a precaution.
Mayor Michael Bloomberg says this incident is yet another reason why gun control laws need to change. Bloomberg also says neither presidential candidate is taking a strong enough stance on the issue.
