NYPD: Woman struck by stray bullet through window in her home

Police are investigating a scene in Canarsie where a woman was struck by a bullet that flew through her window and hit her while she was in her home.
Neighbors tell News 12 they heard over five gun shots ring out on East 102nd Street on Tuesday. Police say the incident took place just after 7 a.m. 
"Since I been living here this is the first time I ever heard that somebody got shot here," said one nearby resident. "It's kind of scary... we don't know what's going on."
Bullets struck several windows at the 29-year-old woman's home, according to the NYPD, one of which struck her in the arm. She is expected to be OK.
No arrests have been made at this time.
