The NYPD officer accused of shooting and killing a Brooklyn man in a July 4 road-rage incident appeared in court Tuesday as the victim's widow looked on.

Officer Wayne Isaacs, who has been free on bail since September, previously pleaded not guilty to charges of second-degree murder and first-degree manslaughter in connection with the slaying of Delrawn Small. Isaacs has been wearing an ankle bracelet as a precaution.

Isaacs was off duty when he allegedly shot Small three times during the altercation on an East New York street. He has been placed on modified duty pending the results of the investigation.

Surveillance video from the aftermath of the shooting shows Small stumbling from his mortal wounds.

Isaacs' defense attorney says the shooting was committed in self-defense.

Wenona Small, the victim's widow, says seeing Isaacs was nauseating.

"It's not a good feeling," she says. "Makes me sick to see him."

Isaacs is due back in court on Feb. 14. Small says she plans to attend every one of his court appearances.
