Officers allegedly connected to a massive NYPD ticket-fixing scandal in The Bronx appeared in court today.
The court appearance was the first time the 15 officers were in court together since their indictment in October. Defense lawyers say they want to prevent thousands of wiretap recordings from getting out into the public to ensure a fair trial for the officers.
The officers are accused of fixing tickets for friends and family in exchange for money and gifts.
