Officials say three people have died and multiple people were injured after a vehicle jumped a curb in Morris Park and struck a group of trick-or-treaters.
Those killed include a 65-year-old man. 21-year-old man and a 10-year-old girl.
The injured include a 3-year-old girl, a 9-year-old girl and a 21-year-old woman. They were transported to Jacobi Medical Center with injuries that were not life-threatening.
The incident occurred near the intersection of Morris Park and Bogart avenues.
Witnesses say the car, driven by a 68-year-old, was speeding down Morris Park Avenue before it flipped over a parked car and crashed into a fence.
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash. It was not immediately clear if the driver suffered any injuries or was charged in the incident.
