A teenager was shot and killed in Flatbush this evening.

News 12 is told the shooting happened around 5:45 p.m. on the second floor of a building at 13-95 Flatbush Ave.

Officials say they responded to reports of an assault and found Samuel Joseph, 15, with gunshot wounds to the head and torso.

He was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead.

Joseph's family arrived at the scene a few hours afterwards and were inconsolable and stricken with grief.

There have been no arrests yet.
