Great architectural sites throughout the city are opening their doors to the public for "Open House New York."
One of the first historic sites open for a public tour is the improved Weylin B. Seymour's - the former Williamsburg Saving's bank built in 1875.
The building was designed by architect George Post and artist Peter B. White. The bank went through a detailed restoration process starting in 2010.
Carlos Perez San Martin, General Manager of Weylin B. Seymour's, says the event is free for the public. Martin says The bank is usually a private event space, but he hopes to open a hotel next door and make it a center for the community.
