Authorities say over $1 million worth of fentanyl was found inside of a diaper box in Kingsbridge. 

Authorities arrested Sergio Velasquez in the parking lot of a Wendy's on Broadway back on Dec. 27.

Investigators say they found close to 20,000 pills and 6 pounds of powder. Velasquez had his 12-year-old daughter with him at the time of the arrest. 

The DEA says this drug bust is just one part of a "record year" for the department, which says nearly 2 million fentanyl pills were seized in 2022.
