Park Slope students eager to get migrants back on their feet

The chief of staff to the mayor’s Office of Immigrant Affairs fielded a variety of questions from the students during today’s event.

The Saint Saviour Catholic Academy put together hundreds of bags of food for asylum seekers arriving to New York City.  
The chief of staff to the mayor’s Office of Immigrant Affairs fielded a variety of questions from the students during today’s event.  
The student-run Diversity, Inclusion, and Social Justice Committee at the school launched a project to fill bags with various snacks to donate to Community Help in Park Slope – a group with the mission to end food insecurity and homelessness here in our city.  
The committee was able to enlist the help of all students and successfully stuffed and decorated over 400 bags of food for migrants.
