Commuters aboard a C train reportedly heard gunshots from inside a Bed-Stuy station.
Surveillance video shows people running from the Ralph Avenue subway station into a corner deli seeking shelter.
An employee of the deli described the chaotic scene to News 12.
"They were telling me, 'Just close the door, close the door, close the door,'" the worker says.
As he was locking the door, police swarmed the area and rushed down into the subway station.
Investigators tell News 12 it appears there was an argument between a passenger and a motorman on board the train.
Responding officers say they couldn't find evidence that any shots were actually fired. They also say they couldn't find the suspect because he may have blended into the crowd running from the station.
Anyone with information should call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
