The NYPD is investigating reports that people scaled part of the Williamsburg Bridge.
A photos appears to show two people who climbed on top of a building that sits on the bridge Wednesday night, but it has not yet been confirmed how many there were.
According to police, the bridge is under constant video surveillance. There are also officers patrolling the bridge seven days a week, but not 24 hours a day.
Many Brooklyn residents say it's concerning that people can get onto restricted parts of the bridge unnoticed.
It's not the first time that bridge climbing has made headlines in the borough. There have been several incidents of individuals scaling the Brooklyn Bridge, including two who swapped an American flag with a white flag.
