Plantega expands to more NYC bodegas, offering meatless options for customers

A plant-based food company that aims to give bodegas healthier food options is expanding across New York City.
Plantega started their pilot program at just three bodegas, and after getting a good response, it has now expanded to a total of seven bodegas across the city.
Co-founder Nil Zacharias says his goal is to make healthy food more accessible, especially in communities that lack healthy food options.
He says his goal is to expand to 20 bodegas this year alone, with the hope of expanding to even more bodegas in the future.
