Police: 1 dead, 1 injured in hit-and-run in Crown Heights

One man is dead and another is injured after they were struck by a car that fled the scene in Crown Heights Sunday morning.

One man is dead and another is injured after they were struck by a car that fled the scene in Crown Heights Sunday morning.
Police say they found the two victims along Albany Avenue. Officials say a 30-year-old man died from his injuries and the second victim is expected to be OK.
Neighbors have identified the man who died as Kaseem Matthews, a father of two.
Authorities say it happened around 5:30 a.m. Neighbors say the section of the street is known for cars speeding.
Investigators were out Sunday focusing on a shoe that was found in the middle of the street as well as several parked cars that were damaged.
Police are searching for the driver.
