Police have arrested 11 people in The Bronx for allegedly running a heroin mill that distributed almost $1 million each week in the tri-state area.
Narcotics investigators found heroin last Wednesday at 22-87 Loring Place in University Heights, where eight people were arrested. Later that day, they arrested three men at 16-94 Selwyn Ave. in Mt. Eden. Officials say the 11 suspects would meet three times a week to package and distribute $750,000 worth of heroin. All but one of the suspects are from The Bronx.
Investigators say the mills were run by Dominican criminals with heroin that came from Colombia.
