Police: 17-year-old shot in the back overnight in East Flatbush

The NYPD says a teenage boy is recovering in a hospital after an early Tuesday shooting in East Flatbush.
According to police, the shooting took place at the intersection of East 29th Street and Clarendon Road just before 1 a.m.
Authorities say a 17-year-old boy was shot once in the back and taken to a hospital in stable condition.
No information has been given on the suspect at this time.
