Police: 2 facing charges for attack on homeless men; 3 others wanted
Police say two suspects will face charges in connection to a brutal attack on four homeless men in Borough Park, and others are being sought in connection with the crime.
The attack happened outside 100 260th St. around 6:45 a.m. back on Feb. 23. Surveillance video was rolling as the suspects punched and kicked the sleeping homeless men.
News 12 is told the suspects demanded money from the men, and got away with just $5.
One of the victims, a 42-year-old man, remains hospitalized in critical condition.
Police say two suspects, 25-year-old Adolfo Romero and 29-year-old Jesus Guadalupe, are already in custody for separate crimes and will now face charges for the attack.
Police have identified a third person, Basilio Zacaraya, who is still wanted in connection with the case. They say two more individuals were seen kicking and punching the victims, but those men haven't been identified.
