Police say a 20-year-old is in custody for allegedly stabbing his boss in a fight over money in Brooklyn Heights.
Authorities say the 30-year-old boss was stabbed twice in the neck by the employee at 181 Montague St. at around 1 p.m. Monday.
Officials say the boss was arguing with the employee over money when the incident happened.
Witnesses say the victim stumbled out toward his truck to try to get help and the suspect fled toward Court Street through a busy lunchtime crowd. They then say a man in the crowd stopped the suspect and grabbed the knife from him. The suspect was then turned in to the police.
The victim was taken to Lutheran Medical Center and is expected to be OK. The suspect is in police custody.
