A man has been charged in the fatal stabbing of a teenager earlier this week.

Police say 15-year-old Tory Lovik was stabbed in his chest in front of 168 Decatur St. Thursday afternoon after some form of a dispute over a parking spot.

The teen was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Joseph Elvird, 48, was taken into custody the same day. He is charged with manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon.
