Police are asking for the public’s help locating the suspect responsible for pepper spraying an 82-year-old cab driver in Crotona Park.

On March 9 around 6:15 p.m., authorities say a man exited a grey sedan and began arguing with the cab driver at the corner of Lowell Street and Longfellow Avenue.

The suspect then pepper sprayed the man, returned to his vehicle and drove off.

Police say the cab driver was treated at the scene.
