An Allerton woman was discovered dead with multiple gunshot wounds to her torso Saturday when police say they were responding to a wellness check.

Police say the 45-year-old victim was pronounced dead at the scene on Arnow Avenue around 4 p.m.

No arrests have been made at this time.
