Police: Brooklyn man tried to hit Lakewood supermarket worker with truck

Authorities say that Christopher Borker was delivering supplies to the store when he tried to take a cart from an employee and the interaction escalated.

Police say a Brooklyn man is facing charges for trying to strike a Lakewood supermarket worker with a truck.
Police say it happened at the Evergreen Supermarket on River Avenue Tuesday morning.
Authorities say that Christopher Borker was delivering supplies to the store when he tried to take a cart from an employee. They say that the situation escalated when Borker allegedly threatened to get a gun and shoot the employees. Police say that Borker then went back to his truck and tried to hit at least one employee in the parking lot.
Borker was arrested on the scene. Police say that there weren’t any firearms found.
Police say that charges for terroristic threats and aggravated assault are forthcoming.
