Police: Man critically hurt in Williamsburg apartment shooting

A man was critically injured in a shooting inside a Williamsburg apartment, police say.

A man was critically injured in a shooting inside a Williamsburg apartment, police say.
Police say the incident happened around 10 p.m. Monday on the 12th floor of an apartment located on 85 Tylor St.
News 12 is told a 47-year-old man heard a knock at the door, opened it and then someone started shooting and hit him three times.
The victim was hit once in the chest and twice in the face.
He was taken to the hospital where News 12 is told he is in critical condition.
Police were unable to give a description of the suspect, but are asking anyone with any information to call NYPD.
