Police say a 39-year-old man died and a 27-year-old woman was injured by gunfire while sitting in a car Tuesday in the Bronx.
Police say the two victims were sitting in a parked car on East 216 Street and Olinville Avenue around 6 p.m. when gunfire went off.
They say the woman was shot in the back and the man in the chest. Both victims were taken to the hospital.
The 39-year-old man was pronounced dead. He was identified as Robert Hill, of Mount Vernon.
The investigation is ongoing, but News 12 was told there seemed to be an argument with another person standing outside the vehicle before they were shot.
Police say the suspect is a man believed to be in his 30s who took off in a white van with Florida license plates.
