Police say a man was fatally stabbed in the chest near a bus stop in East New York.

They say the incident happened overnight Alabama Avenue and Fulton Street.

Officers say the victim, who was possibly homeless, was taken to a hospital where he died.

There is no word yet on a suspect, and the investigation is ongoing.
