Police say a man was injured Saturday morning during a shooting in Prospect Park South.

They say the man was shot in the back around 5:30 a.m. on East 19th Street. 

Officials say the victim was then rushed to Kings County Hospital and is in stable condition. 

Police say the suspect possibly fled in a four-door sedan after the shooting. They say they are investigating the incident.
