Police: Man shot near pool in Crotona Park in the Bronx

A man was struck by gunfire in a Crotona Park shooting steps away from a city pool Wednesday, according to the NYPD.
Down Fulton Avenue, police say a 45-year-old man was shot twice just after 5 p.m. A portion of 174th Street by a deli was taped off as police swept for clues.
Police say the victim was shot in his leg and arm and taken to the hospital. He is expected to recover.
It's unclear if the shooter knew the victim.
Police do not have the whereabouts of the shooter yet.
