Police say a 19-year-old man is in custody after a domestic dispute ended with his girlfriend being slashed in East New York.
Authorities say the couple had some kind of altercation on a northbound No. 3 train at the Pennsylvania Avenue station around 1 a.m. The man is accused of slashing the 24-year-old woman on her hand.
The victim was taken to a hospital in stable condition. Charges are pending against her boyfriend.
