Police say another attack on the subway sent a man to the hospital on Sunday night in the Bronx.
According to police, two men were arguing after the female was being harassed by the suspect while heading downtown on the 4 train. The suspect then stabbed the 54-year-old victim in the elbow.
Officers say the suspect Lason Robinson, 42, has been apprehended. He has been arrested and charged with assault, criminal possession of a weapon and menacing.
The incident is one of the latest attacks within New York City's transportation system that has had many riders worried.
The total number of crimes compared to the millions of people who take the train every day is still low, but new data from the NYPD shows that transit crime is up 28% compared to this time last year.
