A moped struck a pedestrian just before 9 p.m. Tuesday night on Grand Concourse, according to police.
Police say a 35-year-old man was operating the scooter when he struck a 46-year-old woman crossing the street.
The incident happened at the intersection of East 181st Street.
Trauma EMS responded and transported the injured to St. Barnabas Hospital.
