Police say a motorcyclist is dead after losing control and crashing into a car Sunday evening.

The crash occurred around 4:40 p.m. on Ralph Avenue and Park Place.

Officials say the 49-year-old driver of a yellow Kawasaki motorcycle was doing a wheelie as he was traveling northbound on Ralph Avenue. They say he lost control and hit the rear end of a black car driven by a 59-year-old woman.
