Police arrested the man they believe pulled the trigger in the shooting death of Carol Simon.
Darius Dubarry, 27, was caught Sunday at a Days Inn motel in Augusta, Ga. by police. The suspect is being held by the Richmond County Sheriff's Office.
Authorities believe Dubarry was engaged in a gunfight with another man when a stray bullet hit Simon in the torso on December 15. She died from her wounds at the hospital.
Simon was laid to rest Friday.
