A police officer in Brooklyn who was critically injured after being dragged by a stolen car in East Flatbush over the summer is getting a promotion.
Dalsh Veve will earn his gold detective's shield at a special ceremony on Friday.
Veve suffered a head injury after a 15-year-old boy in a stolen car dragged him for more than two blocks on June 3.  Veve is still in the hospital in serious condition.
